need a new set of tyres Non-runflat. Not looking to spend a fortune as I've already sunk thousands into recent repairs.
Im stuck between the Falken ZE 914 and Pirelli Pzeros, I really dont know which to go for.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have no input on the two tyres you mentioned. I run Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5s, and they're excellent. I struggled to lose grip in my 2.5i and now I'm using the same tyres in my 3.0si and they hold extremely well.

I spent less than £320 on 123tyres for a 18" set and £14 for tyre insurance.

I Run Michelin’s, though the Asymmetrics above would be my 2nd choice, probably Vred rainsports if I had to run it all year round

I have Falken Azenis 510 on my E89 and have been very impressed with them. A few weeks ago I drove 700 miles down here to France and they performed well on the Autoroutes at 130kmph and were comfortable and quiet. We have good twisty roads around us and they have performed excellently.

I had P Zeros on my E46 325ti and was very happy with them.

I'm about to get my Zed.

I'm going to be on 108s and I know it's on run flats and I already felt tramlining!

I'm considering Eagle F1s or Hanook Ventus S1.. Price is similar ish. This is a year round daily driver. Anyone got a suggestion?

Sorry hijack thread!

If they’re very close in price, and it’s the Eagle F1 Assymetric 5, then I’d go for the Goodyear’s.

Yeah they're definitely the Assymetric 5s. This price is without fitting etc.

Anyone know if I'll get 4 tyres in the car....? Passenger seat included of course.

Don't know if you're a member, or whether there's one local to you, but Costco are doing £70 off 4 Goodyears or £80 off 4 Michelins - they charge about £10/tyre fitting.

There is actually one relatively close to me, or certainly close enough to make a deal worthwhile. Trouble is they don't seem to have asymmetric 5s in rear tyre size. Plus I'm not a member so it seems like overall it would cos more!

For about £120 more though I could be on a set of Super Sports. But not sure it'll be worth that extra money and 45 miles each way for me.

I'd stick with the F1A-5s then

Don't know the Falkens, but I had Pirelli PZero on my SLK - fine in the summer, but absolutely awful come Autumn when the temperature dropped to 10deg; hardly any grip. I ditched them and replaced with the usual Merc standard Contintenal Sport - a transformation.

On the zed I have Uniroyal RainSport and very happy with the ride and grip.
