Hi, i know there are a lot of posts about different tyres and which are the best to use etc... however i am wondering if anyone can recommend a good website to get tyres from... thanks in advance...

I've recently used http://www.tyremen.co.uk for a set of Vreds. Their prices were good and they delivered to a local fitter. Their price included fitting, valves and balancing. :)

Just put in 255/35/18 rears and 225/40/18 fronts and it bought up vreds ultra sesantas at £126 and £93 inc vat. That's a good price. Your post said that would include fitting! How did that work. Could you choose the fitting centre ?

My local tyre fitter matched, in fact bettered, any online price I could find. Worth looking, and then asking.

When you purchase from them they send the tyres to a filter near you. In my case this was about 5 miles away. The price you pay includes everything, so when you go to get them fitted there is nothing further to pay. Presumably the fitters get paid for their bit by Tyremen. Worked well in my case. :)

I just bought a set here: http://www.toopneus.be/ super fast FREE delivery.
They are in diferent country's active so take a look at there website.

You sure about that? When I select 255/35/18 vreds, they have a fitting charges bit that say it costs £17.50 each tyre. Doesn't say it's included in the price shown.

Yeah I followed through to checkout this time and it says fitting from £17 per tyre or you can have them delivered for you to organise fitting yourself

Thanks for all the replies... when I changed my tyres on my last Z4 (3 years ago) Falken tyres seemed to be everyones choice / favourite on this forum... what are everyones favourite / preference now

I'm just about to put an order in for 4 tyres for my new alloys. 8J all round, will be going for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2

£102.50 for a 225/40/18
£148 for a 255/35/18

http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre-Size/18-Inch-Tyres/225-40-18-Tyres.htm

Came 1st/2nd in plenty of magazine round ups, barely cost any more than Falkens or Vred's. Currently £10 back per tyre at camskill (in the form of tesco petrol vouchers)

*edit* now purchased :)

Let us know what you think once fitted. Are these to replace RFT's?

Just bought those exact ones from them (Veds), getting them fitted on Fri for £508 inc fitting. These will replace the runflats so hope they are good!

 My apologies. I actually rang my order through so that they could arrange delivery and fitting. I paid £508 total for 2 x 225/40ZR18's and 2 x 255/35ZR18's (Vreds). Still think it's a good price.

Local tyre fitter is always best mine was cheaper than online, and you can go back to them if there is a problem and they will fit.
