Should you forget 3rd Gen of Bridgestone RFTs coming to the UK market?

Well according to the Daily Telegraph Motoring Correspondent, "Honest John", you should.
He was quoted on 7th July 2011, saying:-
"I went on the launch. The trouble is, they didn't perform well enough in the handling tests for BMW to approve them as OEM and they quietly died."
I wonder what the REAL reason is/was.............

Anyway, any ideas for tyres guys?.... :headbang:

There was a similar post a few weeks ago, seems to be a few choices out there for RFT's, I will probably choose from one of these three for 17" wheels

Continental Sport Contact 2 RFT @ £141.00 each
Yokohama Advan Sport Zero pressure system @ £140.80 each
Pirelli P Zero RFT @ £141.35 each

Another member has just fitted the Yokohama's and rated them

For me, definitely Michelin PS2 if not Bridgestone Potenza.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to get the PS2 in the 17" wheel :(

That is true. There are no Michelin ps2 rft tires for 17" wheels. That's a pity for those who want to keep rf tires.

THANKS ALL........

Those prices are for FRONTS....right?
If they're for the 255/40R17 94W Rears, they are very good indeed.

Was pondering Contis, but will now investigate Yokohamas..........
