Tyre weld and compressor recommendations?

I'm just running around on tyres with no back up at the minute since switching to Falkens. Obviously need to sort that.

We've got a couple of cans of Holt weld stuff in the garage, but I read the back and it say it's only for use on tyres up to 155? Ours are much bigger than that!

So I'd welcome for any reasonably priced (UK) suggestions for weld and a portable (cigarette lighter-powered) compressor, please!

(The only official BMW kit I can find is here - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-Mobility-Kit-3-5-7-Series-E36-E46-E39-E60-E32-E38_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em63Q2el1177QQhashZitem2c50b6fb13QQitemZ190332730131QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories - and I'm not paying $250/£170 shipped!)

I've got a couple of tins of tyreweld in the boot as well as the BMW 'mobility kit' that replaces a spare wheel.

If I have a puncture i'll ring the AA! as back up I have a second set of wheels as spares  CJ10jeeper carries a spacesaver spare with him when he's travelling a long way which is a good idea as long as it will fit with your luggage.

Holts do a larger can of their tyreweld, sutible for our size tyres.

It is only £10 in Argos. The kit includes torch, orange vest, gloves, and 400ml foam.
