Just returned early from a wee run the bloody tyre pressure warning came up
Done the reset and everything seems ok,its only the second time i've had to do this since new but its a bit annoying :

Have you checked your tyre pressures??

Once you reset the system it takes the wheel rotations as been normal, so if your tyres are deflated the system wouldnt know they are flat...

Hate to say the obvious but have you checked all the tyre pressures, the system activates when the pressure differential is about 1 Bar. The car is fitted with run flat tyres and as such you will not notice visually that you have a flat, hence the tyre monitoring system

Been a lazy git and just put it in the garage
Going to check in the morning :)
Can anybody recommend a home pressure gauge ?

Yeah - don't just reset it without finding out why it went off in the first place.

Mine went off and one front tyre was down to 1.2 bar.

As above, only reset once you've had the chance to check/adjust pressures

Got pressures checked thanks to a friend, all lower than recommended and one was down to 1.25 bar :headbang:
So do you think the very low tyre will be damaged ,by the way there rft

Depends how long you've run at nearly half pressure and why it's at half in the first place ( like damaged wheel or puncture ).

Look at the wear pattern on that tyre to give you an idea of whether it might be damaged.

Got the tyre warning this morning whilst going to the detailers, obviously i've got a slow puncture or a damaged valve !
If its a damaged valve is it worth going to the dealers and seeing what they say or just going to HI-Q etc ,ps no visible damage on tyre

More likely than not you will have a slow puncture, they should be able to repair it dependant on location, some companies may state that they are non repairable, however RFT's that cannot be repaired will have a notice on the sidewall.

Found the problem, there's a small tack in the centre of the tread
Dont know how i missed it the first time :headbang:
Fortunately for me one of my neighbors who's the manager at Hi-q came over and said they could repair it ,so that could save a few quid ! :)

Good result then.........however if it happens again, what are you not going to do :poke:

Well if you ignore it again, you need to change the first part of your username to "window".....
