I need a little advise/help to make the right decision..

I have a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Run Flats 2x 255/35R18 Y and 2x 225/40R18 Y all four tyres have about 7mm tread left.. A colleague at work is wanting to buy a set of Run Flats and I am wanting to get rid of mine for either Falken 452 or Vreds NONE Run Flats.

I offered him my Run Flats for £550

He has counter offered me £450 plus his current tyres, 7mm (Avon) three at 3-4mm (Barum/Milennium).

What shall I do? What would you do?

Umm i wouldnt do it.

Budget tyres mean you would need to fork out an additional cost for Falkens/ Vreds... which would cost more then £450.

My original offer of £550 would cover the cost of either Falkens or Vreds fitted, with a couple of quid to spare.

Comparing a few online sellers I can get
4 x Falken 452 = £400 plus £50-£60 fitting
4 x Vreds = £500 plus £50-£60 fitting

Can you sell the budgets on eBay for more than £100 and have enough to cover the hassle of having to sell them?

Sounds like a good offer to me - even better if he meets you half-way. You can get a set of Falkens for £400, so with fitting you'll not be out of pocket. If you can then sell the budgets for a few quid on EBay, you'll be quids-in!

Donlt expect someone to pay anything like new price for your rfts, even if they do have 7mm tread. 60% of new price tops.
