tyre size on non standard wheel

Have just bought style 230 and after a bit snoop around it looks like I have to fit 255 30 19 to the arrears but the super low profile (im the rft at least) has been blamed for cracks in BMW rims.

The fronts are 225 35 19. Car is lowered 30 mm all round.

Was wondering whether I could fit 255 35 19 to combat the cracks without affecting speedo readout/ rubbing .

All advice appreciated.
 
It'll be an extra inch on the diameter, personally I reckon that's a bit much especially with lowered suspension too, and would stick to 255/30 19.
