In desperate need of some new rubber on all four corners of my coupe. Car has premium but very old tyres on it, so I've been shopping around. Usually use Blackcircles or etyres, but came across Tyre-Shopper who seem to use National Tyres as their fitting outlets.

4 x Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrical 5 tyres (fronts: 225/40/18 + rears: 255/35/18) - balanced, incl vat, fitted and with old tyres taken away for £398.70 which I didn't think was that bad at all.

Little tip on the site - when you fill your shopping basket, just linger there for a minute or so not doing anything. They then throw you a 5% discount code to seal the deal

They are reviewed pretty damn well on Trustpilot: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.tyre-shopper.co.uk. I'll keep an eye out for them when I next need to find some tyres.

Btw, when buying my Goodyear EF1A5 tyres I went for 245/35/18 rears as it was around £16 a tyre cheaper and actually (IMO) gives the car a more neutral balance.

Finally for anyone else interested (sorry for the thread hijack inkey!) Michelin PS4 tyres are 15% off on blackcircles today only. You can get the standard 18" staggered PS4 tyres for £432.

And if you'd purchased through "Top Cashback" you'd have got another 6.75% Cash back

I’m sure if I’d waited another week I’d have got 7.8375% off  Ce la vie.
Thanks for the heads up and I’ll take the hit this time  :headbang:

Used them a good few years ago for my wifes 130 coupe, well priced and decent service from local National tyres depot.
Good price on the 4

Costco are usually cheapest when they have their tyre offers on. I fitted a set of 225/40/18 Goodyear asymmetric 5's to my wife's car and they were £320 fitted

If you can't get a membership then your tyre shopper quote also sounds reasonable.

National tyres scare me - wrecked a diamond cut face by dropping on floor.....then got over excited with a tyre lever and cracked the alloy......all was sorted out in the end but it wasn't easy. comes down to the tyre fitter i suppose but manager loved to argue with customers also....

Does indeed come down to the fitter. Always good to have some go-to people you trust. Luckily the place near me (Greenwich) is one of those places...but....I’ll still be warning them to look after the immaculate MV2s on my coupe.

I spoke too soon. Four new F1’s fitted today but I think I drew a low card when it came to the person fitting my tyres.

All went well until the final wheel and he f*cked up the rim on my immaculate MV2. Held his hands up to it immediately and they’re going to pay for the full refurb, but just shows how you can never tell.
