Tyre Shine and Alloy Clean

I've tries lots of wheel waxes including Poorboys and found that they never last long enough (even with 3 or 4 coats) - I'm now a convert to Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour, very easy to apply and lasts... and lasts... and lasts...

+1 Excellent Stuff

After reading a review I went for angelwax wheel wax. Really easy to put on and lasts months. Clean wheels with just hose down and all the muck and dust runs off. Very pleased with the product and nice shiny wheels.

A thumbs down for Megs tyre dressing from me, I found any 'overspray' left gunky marks on the 296 alloys. Currently using Swissvax Pneu which is good but maybe a tad too subtle.
New wheels have been done with Swissvax Autobahn, I'll report how that goes.

Try the tyre gel with an applicator. No overspray and no mess.

+2 C5 is the way to go. The trick with wheels is regular cleaning, then just a quick pressure wash after a dedicated wheel cleaner (I use bilberry or Auto Finesse Imperial). Very rarely have to use any agitation at all.

If you are having problems with tar and iron deposits then you need to use a dedicated remover for these as regular wheel cleaners will have a hard time and you'll be disappointed with the results.

Yea the Sonax wheel cleaner link i put up is an iron fall out remover as well so will remove iron and tar from wheels as well as cleaning them, it really is a good product and blows the socks off of bilberry. (not cheap though)
