tyre recommendations.

Hi all,
I am running Bridgestone runflats on my 2004 2.5se. I am going to change to non runflats. Rear tyres are almost on limit...fronts have a few thousand miles left in them. I intend sticking with 16 x 50 x 16 tyres. Going up to 17" is too expensive for new wheels at present, and the state of my local pot holed roads along with traffic "calming" measures seem designed to destroy my car. I hope the 16' tyres will give a "softer 'ride.
i am thinking of Hankook Ventus V12 EVO 110 or Falken ZIEX ZE-914. I would like to try to keep the cost down to less than £100 per corner. Has anyone personal experience of the Hankooks.?..my tyre fitter speaks highly of them. OR can anyone give suggestions of alternative tyres?
Thanks for any replies.....Regards, John Duggan aka The hairy angler. :driving:

Hi..
I have very recently taken off the Bridgestone RFTs and now have a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 assymetricals fitted..
My 3.0 Z4, is now a far different, superior and some might say, - a lot better car to drive.. :D
I would thoroughly recommend the Goodyear Eagle F1s, all day and night.. They are great in the dry and equally as good, in the wet so far too..
Best of luck, in your quest though and let us know - how you get on
Cheers..

£100 a corner is loads of !6" tyres...

i'm guessing its 195/55/16 you need? If you checkout camskill.

You can get some decent continentals for £85 a corner.

Sorry aquazi, Must sack my proofreader
My tyre size is 225x50x16. Usually use Blackcircles but will check out Camskill.
