tyre pressures

I'm not the brightest spark I'll be the first to admit - thought I'd check the tyre pressures today - looked in handbook to see what is recommended for 18" RF 108's on my 3.0SE - appears to be 33F 36R - as mine were 30 all round seems a long way adrift - Have I read the handbook correctly ?

Yes you have. It also says it on one of the door sills, but it's in bar, rather than psi.

30 won't make it handle terribly. The recommendee pressures are for a mixture of performance/economy/longevity so you can adjust these to suit your driving style.

I put 36 psi in the fronts and 39 on the rears when I travelled from Essex to Glasgow. It made the ride feel a bit floaty but was good for comfort.

Mind you, I had 6 psi in one tyre yesterday and it still handled ok. Stupid slow puncture :(
