Wonder if anybody can help with a question I have.
I finally got round to buying a digital tyre pressure reader a little while ago, and have been good the last few weeks in checking both cars each weekend.
The pressure reader goes into tenths of bar, i.e. 2.35 etc. So I set both cars to exactly what it says on the door sticker.
Then, when I checked again this past weekend, they had gone up! Only a little, i.e. 2.30 to 2.34 etc
I would've expected them to go down!
So I let some air out to take them back to 2.30 etc, but why is this difference, and by letting air out, am I now possibly under?
The only thing I can put it down to is difference in temperature - both times were when the cars had been sat overnight and not used, but if the outside temp was different, would this affect it, and if so, is the change likely to be so small its not relevant?
