From my mate who races Porsche's, this is how his team balance their tyre pressures by using one of the highly accurate hand held guages with the rubber pipe attachement (approx a foot long)
THEY START AT RECOMMENDED NORMAL TYRE PRESSURES.
they then go for a warm up... come in, check the pressures again & evenly balance them back down to to the recommended normal pressures... go out again & continue in out in out until they all become properly balanced. this is why you see them continually going out & coming back in... Eventually tyres settle down & they'll be balanced.
Agreed if you have to warm them up each time you go out as they will be a bit sloppy at first, hence why you see them all weaving again to get them up to operating temperature.
A properly balanced set of pressured standard tyres will surprise u just how well they grip once warm... just remember to put air back in them for the journey home & the next day once you've finished for the day.
Try it & see how it works out, but don't use a cheap tyre pressure monitor
