Tyre pressures

Hi,
When I got the car from the dealer I didn't check the tyre pressures for a while (6 months) but when I did the fronts were 2.2b and the rears 2.7b. According to the sticker inside the door they should be 2.7 and 3.1 for 18inch wheels so I reset them. The car has been at BMW for a while but now its back and I have checked them today and they were back to 2.2b and 2.7b. So my questions is, is the door or what BMW set them to correct. My T350T was always set by dealers to 28psi but anybody who owns one knows it should be 24psi to save your fillings!

I always use the tyre pressures as recommended by BMW on the sticker and in fact struggle to understand why anyone would think that using any other figure would make sense. I do agree, amd set them to the door settings but on two occassions it has been at BMW they have been reduced. I guess I should ask them but just wondered what others used.
