Tyre Pressures

Tyres are wearing the outside edges but correctly inflated what are the recommended tyre pressures for a Z4M convertible .... tyres are original Conti's

Tyre pressures are on a sticker just inside the door on the drivers side or in your handbook.

If it's just the front ones i would say that's normal for a BMW. All 4 of mine have done it, including a brand new one and another that had a full KDS alignment done. I fully expect my Z4M to do the same.

ps I run my pressures at 30/30 the sticker says 32/32. The ride is a little better.

Outter edge wear is probably down to low pressure and perhaps bad front wishbone rear bushes, making the camber positive instead of negative. Does the car understeer much?

My rear tires have worn on the inside during a road trip. A US tire shop manager told me this is normal on a Z4 (roof down, some weight in the trunk like a suit case little cooler etc). When I got back home my Service Manager advised to inflate rear tires 10% more then shown on sticker. This is what I am doing now. Also I check air pressure quite often (weekly). I would check with BMW about your front outside wear,

I found no premature wear with the front tires. My total milage now is 22,800 KM plus.
