Hi

I am sure this has been done to death but struggled to come up with anything on the search.

255/40 rears and 225/45 fronts

What tyre pressures can you recommend?

many thanks

They should be in your user manual and on the sticker inside the driver's door shut.
I think the OP is asking about pressure to use in NRF tyres. He's right saying the topic's been covered, but from memory I don't think there was a definitive agreement on pressures - other than probably not the pressures posted by BMW for the runflats.
Not sure what I've got in mine...

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport 4s with 34 psi front and 36 psi rear. I had read the rears should have a couple extra pounds because of the addition weight behind when I was asking the same question last year. But I am seeing additional wear in the rear now. I'm not sure if it is caused by the pressure or the engine torque.... The car has handled beautifully.

Not much wheel / tyre related that is not covered here https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=107556

I think you're absolutely right, apologies. Been working way too many hours lately and all my contributions on here have been highly unhelpful! Time to keep my nose out I think!
