Seen a list of BMW tyre pressures somewhere.
Looks like the Z4 has the highest pressures of any BMW. Circa 38-42.
Been running set Goodyear asymmetric non-rft 17 inch tyres, the rears are nearly worn out after 23k miles.
Have been running rears at 40-42 at different times, but looking at the wear pattern, the centres are worn more than the edge suggesting over-inflation.
Might try 38 on the new set.
