Hi,

I'm thinking about getting some new wheels for the Zed to replace the troublesome 108's.

How does this TPMS thing work ?

Will ditching the runflats have any effect on the system ?

While I'm at it, can anyone recommend a reputable online dealer for new Wheels (CSL reps etc) other than bmautosport ?

TPMS uses the ABS sensors so you'll be fine to change (US uses actual wheel mounted sensors from late 2006(?) onwards).

Can't help with the CSLs but the TPMS works from the ABS. It monitors the difference in rotation between wheels on the same axle. A drop in pressure causes a difference in speed of rotation. So changing wheels or tyres will have no effect as long as you reset the system.

Shall be selling my "in need of restoration" 108's when I change too.
