As posted elsewhere, have just bought new tyres for the 35iS: Goodyear Asymmetric 6 - 18 225/40 front and 18 255/35 rear. Have just read the volume of writing on the outside of each. The fronts were made in Germany, the rears in ... Slovenia.

So far, they drive well and perhaps a bit quieter than the Pirelli P Zeros they've replaced.
 
well, goodyear do have a manufacturing facility in slovenia, so makes sense to me...

Just looking at 6's for my cars rears. Best i can see is £133.75 Camskill plus delivery.
Local garage charges me £10 to 15 to fit, depending which way wind blows.

But you would expect new tyres to be quieter since the old ones would have got noisier with age as the compound hardened and they became more worn etc. Fairer test would be new for new.

Sounds good. How much is delivery?
p.s. And wheel alignment?
