Tyre insurance?

I swithered whether to take the BMW tyre insurance when I bought my Z4.
I ended up with 3yrs 19" cover for the price of 2 for £270 which covers 5 replacements for damage & vandalism.

It has turned out to be a good but as I picked a screw up in my front near side tyre today, right on the sidewall after 3 months & 2500 miles.

Result new 19" Bridgestone ROF FOC.
So I have broken even...

Nice one.

Any insurance is essentially a waste of money unless you need to claim on it, so its good to hear you've broken even and now its free peace of mind, or pure profit.

yip.... Agree! It was nice to have it changed within an hour & not have to raid the piggy bank for £300.

I got my tyre insurance thrown in. Can't wait to claim.... Max £300 per tyre.
