It depends where the puncture is. In the tread, almost certainly, in the shoulder/sidewall almost certainly not.
No idea re. Kwikfit, if possible I'd go for somewhere I knew and had confidence in. If you have used the Kwikfit and know they are competent, then I don't see why not.
Do you actually have to put the foam in? Quite often a screw will hold air for a good while - I recently drove all the way from the Eurotunnel to the 'ring with a screw in a tyre and didn't need to inflate it once.
Re.the foam - I "believe" a tyre can be repaired after using it, but the tyre places don't like it. However, I certainly do not know the truth of it.
