Tyre choice

Its probably been done to death but here goes again!

The rear runflats have had an " advisory" on the MOT yesterday - they quoted £299 each ! Needles to say what I said.

The decision to ditch the runflats has been made - but with what?

I think I've narrowed the field down to ether Falken 452 's or Vredesteien Sessanta.
Costs seem to be about £420 for the Falkens and £600 for he Vreds - thats all fitted etc.

The Falkens are looking attractive at £420 - The burning question for me is - Will they be noticeably better (or worse) than the runflats?

Any advice will be appreciated

Vreds are available cheap: http://tyremen.myshopify.com/products/copy-of-22540yr18-vredestein-sessanta-3

Seems the more discerning drivers much prefer Veds to Falkens.

I fitted Goodyear F1 on mine, they are a bit dearer than Falkens,i paid £580 fitted from MYTYRES.The car has imprved a 100%.

They will not be noticeably better, they will be dramatically better.

i fitted falkens to mine the transformation is quite un believable , vreds are good but for the price 452 are quite a good choice for the zed :D

Think iv got a slow on one of my runflats, I will know over the next few days , if the tyre is gubbed, ill need a new one. I also want to get rid of my daisy wheels, hence a dilema , by a new tyre or go mad and spend money on wheels an tyres , what do you guys think of deals like this ? . 18" BMW NEW CSL STYLE ALLOY WHEELS AND TYRES.3,Z4 on ebay for £ 550.00 , The wheels without tyres are £350, seems to be very resonable pricing.
