Tyre Air Valve Too Short?

Hi all,

Been a while since I posted on here (which is a good thing, I suppose!). A couple of days ago my tyre pressure light (red) came on. I've only just found time to call in at a garage air pump to check the tyre pressures and I've noticed that my rear-passenger tyre valve is too short to connect the hose :headbang:

It simply will not fit no matter how hard I push the hose on. The other three tyres are fine but this one (the suspected problematic tyre) is too short.

What's the workaround here? I've had to come back to work since so I've got three tyres up to pressure and one suspected low pressure tyre on the go.

FYI, they are run flats.

Possible the valve isn't flush inside the rim? Can you get a pair of grips on it and pull it out any, without destroying the threads on the valve cap.

Or stick a pic up?

If the valve wasn't sitting correctly it would leak.

Pop into a local tyre place and they will be able to provide an extension piece. Mine did this a few years ago when they fitted short valves.
