Tyre advice

I'm currently running 18' wheels (8.5 front, 9.5 rear) (225 40 front, 255 35 rear) and I'm just wondering what's the maximum tyre size I can get away with to cope with the current state of British roads (plus I prefer a meatier look).

I'm looking at 235 45 front and 265 40 rear? Would this be ok, or will I run into issues? (Running B4 struts and OEM springs)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think it depends on your wheel offsets too but 265/40 sounds very chunky. Tyres are fine for those wheel widths though…
