Typical Yaris Driver

Well thank you firebobby, that's the nicest thing said to me all week x

Agree with most comments here. Yaris driver must have been taking a nap. Maybe he should buy a driver less car. Not the smartest over take bythe BMW. But I've had worse coming the other way than that and never crashed it.

Not a great experience I bet and glad the kid is okay. The situation looks like it could have been managed better with more experience, which he has now!

Like others have said, why wear a camera on your head?

The twat is probably one of these cyclist knobbers looking to blame everyone else for being a tit!

This guy wouldn't last 10 minutes on the back roads of Aberdeenshire.

I once remember being greeted by a 911 heading straight toward me in the centre of the road doing approx 90 mph. I could see the guys eyes and they did look a bit panicky - Mainly because he was fully airborne at the time ! Touched down about 40 feet in front of me and adjusted and went past.

Mr Yaris-cam-dick would have shat himself !

Does anyone think the Yaris was partly to blame? I wonder if he'd been driving something a little better that he wouldn't have lost control so easily, it's like he braked and cars composure fell apart, although he did seem to swerve slightly before hitting the side of the road.

Tim.

Partly !

It's entirely his fault. In the first still above I reckon I could get a shitty Yaris in the gap - and I defiantely could in the 2nd one.

The boy can't drive.

or make decent videos.

ASW

Doesn't the fact that the police does not prosecute the BMW driver say enough?

Exactly what I thought. One of those who goes around almost looking for an altercation so he can upload it to his YouTube channel.

As I posted before, I think he deliberately braked late to make it look more like a near miss for the camera, totally misjudged it and ended up in the wall.

So as you can see the pic from the video is on 20 seconds, the over taking car is still behind the car he is trying to over take.

Now you can see the video is on 22 seconds and the over taking car has already passed by the Yaris.
So you really think the Yaris driver was trying brake late on purpose lol

Yeh actually looking at it again, with the 4 metre warning lines with 2 metre gaps he does only have about 50 metres to brake from when he first sees the oncoming car. Still should have been enough time to brake safely and not finish upside down though

If he stuck to just giving the w***er sign to the BM driver and not taken any evasive action all all he would have been fine :driving:

up to 40mph roads should have 4mx100mm with 2m gap. Over 40mph should be 6mx150mm with 3 meter gaps.

If you actually look when the tyres lock up the rear of the car swings to the left. When which ever tyre it is stops sliding the car very quickly rotates so that the front is heading towards the wall. This is classic over-correction of a slide. I still reckon inexperienced driver who's never actually had to control a car which was sliding & on auto-pilot not paying enough attention to the road.

The Yaris driver may have also put a wheel on the verge which would under heavy braking left his steering wheel redundant, and as he was on a slight right hand curve it would put him in the wall. Far more easily done than we might think.

Could be I suppose. But then again he could just be one of those self-important social media knobbers who videos everything he does and takes pictures of his dinner to post on Instagram as if it's even remotely interesting.

Clever how you swung the thread around 180 degrees to the militant cycling minority though. Well done.

That's only because swinging it round to the gays is never popular nowadays
