Typical Yaris Driver

I just don't see the problem

Surely he could have powered out of that :driving:

This is what happens when you get two idiots on the road. The problem is one of them probably thinks they did everything right & it was the other idiots fault.

From what I saw BMW driver shouldn't have been overtaking then & should have backed out once the Yaris was in view. That said the Yaris driver took a blind crest too fast, then took an age (2-2.5 seconds) to start braking. When the Yaris driver did brake it was way too hard for the conditions, making a light car go rear-end happy & the car rotated.

The Corsa driver had plenty of time to brake, what was he looking at having gone over the crest? Not what was happening further ahead obviously. I dab on the brakes and a well deserved w****r sign to the BM and on your way.

Perhaps I was being a little harsh on the Yaris driver but I've had closer encounters and managed to stay on the road. Difficult to tell when two cars are at speed but he appeared to have enough time to brake safely without slamming the anchors on.

If he had started breaking gently just after the crest this would have been a non-event. Again 2-2.5s between seeing the overtaking car and applying the brakes. Why?

The BMW was just back on his side of the road when the Yaris decided to drive into the wall.

I'd blame the Yaris driver as much for not being able to drive properly.

I wear a head cam everywhere, in bed, in the bath you can never be too careful.

Tim.

You gonna pop some of that footage over to your new PM babe Tim..?

Already done John, seeing TM enter no.10 in tight slacks is enough to ensure my head cam is fully charged

I thought that. The BMW driver had made the move and was back on their side of the road when the Yaris driver decided to have a crash :?

Tim.

I reckon he thought 'ooh I'll get this near-miss on camera', deliberately didn't slow down, completely mis-judged it and put the car into the wall. Absolute clown

I'm beginning to think I'm abnormal not wearing a head cam in the middle of the countryside, might give the other half ideas :o

Tim.

Don't you people know that anyone who uses a driving camera is always in the right , you'll be saying people on the internet don't know what they are talking about next :D
