Depends how many you need ? If you're planning to replace them all you may be in for a surprise re the costs 80 x £2.50/£3 soon takes the shine off the idea , if you need 10/20 worth tracking down a spare 108 & removing the bolts
They do clean up ok if your current ones are tarnished , leave them in some brick acid for a few days , then lightly sand each head with fine paper

Thanks for the tip Mr Wilks ...yes, probably a good idea to soak and then Polish the Heads on a Soft Wheel with some burnishing compound . I did similar with some wheel nuts recently and was very happy with the results.

You only actually see the top of the bolt head anyway & once fitted its a task to keep that part clean .
The brick acid helps dissolve any paint / lacquer that may have been added over the years , i then held the thread in my fingers whilst moving the head across fine grade sandpaper , worked a treat

The OEM 'BBS' bolts, are made of titanium I believe and the ones that you can buy (from prior experience) generally are not. Far inferior items sometimes - hence beware, when you are rebuilding the wheels, after they've been refurbished :wink:

As, mr wilks mentioned also - best bet is to try and track down a single BBS style 108 wheel, for replacement bolts
