Thankfully I'm lucky enough to live in the same city as one if not the biggest racing events in the nation, so here's a few images.
Side note: if you don't enjoy drag races and or street racing like the tv show "street outlaws" you might not like this event. Keep in mind I only attended the meets and went to the track to watch.

Let's just say these guys weren't done for the day and took the fun outside of the drag strip.. ironically they all pulled over to help a friend with a flat tire I believe? And the police came by and gave out tickets when they weren't doing anything wrong at the time :rofl: I guess be careful who you associate yourself with?

Thank you for making it to the very end of this :lol: this honestly took me a good half hour to writ up as I had to do it on my phone and switch between my Web app and the photobucket app for the links :headbang: hope you guys like it.
 
Loved it! Some seriously fast cars there. Also great to see the white Celica, a car I lusted after when I was somewhat younger!

Some quality pics there especially the under bonnet ones. Some beaut cars there.

We were at Pigeon Forge in the Smokey Mountains in Sept 2013 and they had a huge Rat Run for the week while we were there. Some truly gorgeous modified cars there.

You Yanks do this kind of event very well indeed as, like your pics, the owners of these cars were very open to you looking around them and taking pics, oh, and then they'd wait til the night time and take them on the strip and do burn outs, donuts etc etc... The Police there were pretty cool with it and let them do their stuff, to an extent.

There was another datsun I believe? It's got some nice deep dish wheels, no hood, an alien color wrap and a twin turbo VQ35DE from a 350z. I'll see if I can find a picture from any friends for you guys. Got a few more pictures from today. When I get a chance I'll try and upload some more.
It's a 4 day event I believe? So don't worry :thumbsup:
