Two warning bleeps?

I've checked through the manual, but nothing obvious I've seen so far.

On occasion (certainly not every time) when I switch on the ignition I hear two bleeps. I don't think it relates to the thermometer reading and I don't think I see any warning lamps on the dash that I've not seen before.

It crossed my mind that it could be linked to the alarm having being triggered, but I've seen nothing in the manual.

Any ideas?

The yellow oil light tends to come on after I switch off the engine if the oil is low if I need to add 0.5-0.75 litres?

Have had it with temps above 3.0, think the last one was at 6.5, but will double check next time.
