Two Tone Rims - Almost at buying point

What do you guys think ? I saw them the other day and almost instantly started looking around for people to do it.

These are my rims on my car...

One thing that ive noticed was that mine are curved and dont have an edge, whereas the ones in the picture have a noticible edge.

Also if im driving at 70mph say, would a person see my rims as red, or as seethrough ?

They are sooo nice !!! :driving: :thumbsup:

Btw i have red leather seating.

Not very stylish or sporty IMHO, simply OTT. If that red was grey/carbon then yes.. but coloured wheels, at least for my tastes, are a no no.
 
Sorry it's a not really from me, I can see it working on tricked and modd'ed car but just looks out of place tacked on something standard. But hey I loved my black rims and a sun strip on my Mk II Cortina when I was young and nobody would of talked me out of it :oops:

If you like the look go for it it'l certainly be distictive :thumbsup:
 
Just been out to take a closer look at my MV2's - I'm not sure how you'd pull this off on those rims without some mean masking skills. Even then I don't think it would look particularly neat - probably best left for rims with a cut face.

I'd like them better without bright colours, silver and grey or similar.
 
I can see what you're going for but its a little too much red and not enough black for my liking..
