Two piece black grilles-do they exist?

Hi all, i'm thinking of trying out some black grilles but all the ones i'v seen seem to have the outer ring and vertical slats as a single moulding. Does anyone know where i can get some with a separate outer ring like the original BMW grilles or are all the aftermarket grilles like this?

Reason being is I'd like to paint the outer ring gloss black so it would be much easier to have these detatchable. I don't want to paint my original grilles and i really don't want to pay BMW prices just to get detatchable trims. I could wrap my existing ones but i'm pretty fickle and will probably swap them over a couple of times so having two sets is preferable.

If anyone knows of some good quality, 2 piece grilles or has any original parts they don't want please let me know.

My all black grilles are 2 piece so they do exist - think I bought mine from someone on here years ago. They may be oem unpainted?

I'd been hoping to get some through CA Technologies as I'm ordering a couple of bits through them anyway but it seems as though theirs are a single piece. Shame, as they've been very helpful and I'd happily have given them more of money!

Jonny- I would prefer a complete set, rings, slats and all but i'd consider covers even if they were chrome ones to re-paint.
 
Have you considered getting standard BMW Black & Chrome grills and Vynal wrap the chrome Gloss black? Only takes a hour and should last the cars life time.
 
I had done but the only ones I could find we're new, genuine pieces at about £55 a side. Hardly bank-breaking money but more than I wanted to spend on some grilles really.

If a good used set turn up or I can find some good pattern chrome/black grilles then I may do that but I think I'll contact M style at some point and see what they say about their versions first.
