two minute silence

Don't you just hate the arrogant, ignorant twohats that continously talk, or try to talk to you, whilst you're observing the two minute silence in respect to those who've lost their lives in the defence of our country. :headbang:

There is a spanish woman that sits across the room from me, and despite the company sending several emails reminding people of the silence, she was laughing and joking on the phone through the silence, and even tried to interupt the person she sits next to; asking for a pen.

After the silence, her neighbour told her he wasn't going to reply during the silence, and she said "Oh.. you could have still responded tho. You were being very rude.".

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

(rant over!)

I paraded in hexham on sunday. there was a guy there who was 99 and his story was amazing.

prisoner of war transported on 3 ships, all of which were bombed and sunk (he escaped), to nagasaki where he was in a coal mine when the atom bomb struck.

anyway, when it come to the minuts silence you could have heard a bird turd hit the floor until some arsehole teenagers decided to shout something, real hard i know. anyway we carried on and the teenagers thought they were all big and clever.

if i hadnt have been standing to attention at the time i would have taken the armed guards rifles and done them all with the bayonet.
