Two minds on my MCoupe

Better the devil you know.

Sounds like you spent the time and effort finding the right one the first time, why waste time money effort doing it all again.

Keep your existing car, and enjoy it.

It's bonkers to look at a 2nd hand Z4 as an investment. Really. Unless you have a garage queen and will never drive it, it's pointless.

I bought mine with 45k miles and intend to enjoy driving it. Lots. I don't plan doing crazy miles - i.e. under 5k per year, but I certainly didn't buy it to look at it.

If the trend is upwards in price, even mid mileage cars will keep their value. Only really high milers will depreciate

Buy it, drive it.

If you want to change - change - but if you're unsure - it's obviously not what you want to do - else you'd of done it already and be driving the new one :p

If ever in moments of doubt about your Z4M - take it for a spin :D

This should apply to most dilemmas!

As said, prices may be increasing, but I don't low milers will appreciate enough to ever be an "investment", i.e. by the time you've paid tax, insurance, running costs, servicing, consumables etc you'll always lose money (just maybe slightly less).

Enjoy your car, keep it lovingly cared for and all will be good with the world :driving:

I've also read that provided that you are not deemed a trader that any capital gain is tax free ( the same for watches) - although Inkey with your turn around you may fall in the trader section :D
I'm officially at my limit
Good job the tax year ends next week then... :P

I'm putting this to bed now. I'm keeping my current car and going to drive it and enjoy it. Thanks for the thoughts - helped me to see sense.

Sun is out, I'm off for a drive... :driving:

well your shagged mate, page 112 of the Z4MR owners manuals says "If car is sold to #4 buyer, car will immediately implode."

seriously mate, your thinking of swapping out your well sorted coupe for another, with about 20-30k less miles on it?? get a life mate  , go drive. these cars are not an investment that will net you any gain. :driving:

after having spend a good part of 10K on my car, there is no bloody way in hell id sell it, just to go through all that again.. :fuelfire:
