Twilight Purple M4

I really like that  I test drove the M4 Convertible last week while in for a service and I was mightily impressed with it, I was concerned because everyone seems to moan about the noise with the switch to Turbo's but with the roof down I could hear the exhaust easily and I liked how vocal the Turbo's were too.

It's left me lusting after the M4 now for sure 8) and I liked how I didn't have to wait until 6k revs for it to get a move on like in my old V8 M3.

My mate used to have a purple beemer, was a 3 series compact he was adamant it was blue as the paint code was called velvet blue but of course it was definitely purple and we royally took the piss out of him for it.... He didn't keep it very long although other than the colour it was a very nice car

I like the colour - stands out, makes a change and I bet when polished it has a lovely sparkle to it.

My Dad had an E36 M3 which was Daytona Violet with light grey leather. I loved that car and the colour was awesome!

My first BMW was a E46 320d in Tourmaline Violet, just like this M3

Nice, certainly a standout colour, I think that would make an excellent prince tribute edition

I want an M4 convertible just so that I can have it in Austin Yellow

I did think of you sars after I had been out in it and the roof mechanism is a work of art, I enjoyed the top down experience again and it really adds something to the car.

The 4 series is a lovely package for sure

There is/was an M4 in Austin Yellow at Dick Lovetts, Bristol and they were taking forum members out for short runs, allegedly the driver stated you can expect low double digit average mpg's so I shall stick with mine, which has a lifetime average of 47.8 mpg so far and enjoying that performance at every opportunity :D

I did joke with the sales guy when I drove it that I would live at the petrol station if I had one!

That average is cracking and offers the best of both....stunning punch and great economy and it's very hard to argue with that for sure  I like the 640d for similar reasons.

Love the M4 not my colour the purple though. Had a coupe last year for a day & loved it,but the money wasn't good. Started to see deals on them so just had a quote for M4 vert in Ferrari red last week, still too expensive at the moment. Hopefully soon :D

Coupe I had last year. Loved the noise of it on sports plus & full tilt :D son loved it too !
