Twelve hours and counting: now with pics!

Its 7am and I'm checking out your car pics... again.... while eating breakfast.

Seriously can't wait to get mine now! 8)

Congratulations, car looks great

Exactly like ours should look in about 8 weeks time! You have good taste :D

Now you can see the detail, and the un white bits look dark and stand out even the door hadles have contrast.

Care washing not to get scratches that show in the street lights, and just enjoy.

Nice water drop pics.

I needed to say red interior for me on anything except red exterior.

All my last 4 zds been red interior silver/grey external.

All my other cars (6 before the zd) except the zd have been red external black interior.

Nearly got a red zd this time but was sold before I got to it.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Haven't been lurking so much as been out driving :driving: even got some top down night time driving done which I have really been looking forward too, tingles down the spine when you have a carpet of lights above your head. 8)

Fuel economy is impressive if you don't floor it all the time. Have done mainly A road driving with a little town and am getting over 39 mpg so far, very pleased. Although suspect that will come down once I get past run in

Also had my first brown pants moment, floored it going down a motorway slip road and touched a wet white line, lets just say the DSC works well!!!

Taking a bit of getting used to the silly electronic handbrake but guess that will come in time. Suspension is also not nearly as stiff as expected (test drove an SE) and probably at least as compliant over bumps as my E91 M Sport was.

All in all very pleased, I reckon it will perform well as both a sporty weekend cotswold country road car and a cruiser when required, ticking all the boxes.

Well done BMW
