Tw*t Magnet

What is it about our cars that makes every muppet on the road want to try an entice you into having a race. Sick of the little morons racing up behind me, and sitting a few inches off my bumper.

Sorry for rant lol.

Trick is to lightly touch the brake pedal, just enough to put the lights on but nothing else, whilst accelerating away.
Annoys the hell out of them :D

Or they park so close to you, you can't get into your car. I had one c**t Park with their bumper on mine.

They're just jealous as they drive sprog boxes (usually badly) as a result of poor life choices. I work bloody hard, am careful with my cash and don't drink (excessively) or smoke, so that I can have a car that I enjoy - boils my p*ss when they do stuff like that

I've come to the sad realisation that I drive mine less, esp over here in The Netherlands due to the fact that people here in general drive like tw@ts and also that the zed is in the top tier of tw@t magnets.

:(

Had a Tesla behind me, i knew i couldn't out accelerate it, so stayed below speed limit :)

Just keep driving, you’ll lose him eventually :P
Rob

Or follow them till they have to recharge (about 10 miles should do it) and have a 'recharge/fill up' race. You'll smoke him :driving:

I’ve had my E85 for almost 11 years now, and have encountered very little of this behaviour, nor any verbal abuse that some have previously mentioned on here. TBH, I’d struggle to recall more than a small handful of incidents.

Maybe it’s because I’m old and can’t remember :?

I have had two instances of close tailgating by twa_s, each time i had my roof down, I gave them a quick finger then pointed to and tapped my front-rear dash cam.
The response is immediate, backing off and behaving immediately.

Definitely agree with it being a magnet for idiots, on the plus side I can recall loads more positive interactions with people at petrol stations etc than issues with muppets.

Funnily enough the only two ‘encounters’ I’ve come across in the last month have been with Sussex Police - luckily just to tell me that they liked my zed whilst crawling in traffic :)

I have this problem a lot. One time I had to leave the M8 because some c**t in an A Class wanted to race me so bad he pulled in front and wouldn’t let me pass, so I took the exit and let him go.

Hmm, never experienced it in the Z4. Definitely had it a lot more when I had the e93 335i. In this car, I most get people giving me thumbs up or compliments at gas station a.
