True but if we don't blow our trumpet - absolutely nobody else will. And most people in the UK will have no idea about anything to do with our own technologies and industry, let alone people outside of the UK. A great way to pretend how good we are ;-)

Random things such as the sleepy market town I work in in Wiltshire hosts a load of engineering factories, including parts manufactures for turbos used around Europe, f1 parts and aerospace engine parts. You just would never guess.

Used to work in Shrivenham - the F1 teams used to bring their cars there to use the wind tunnel before the season started, loved seeing those machines close up :thumbsup:
