Tv Function overide

Sorry that was a very quick post by me as my dinner was called.

So basically I managed to pick up my Z today, and it has the TV as an optional BMW extra, and it has a DVD player, which I can watch DVD's on I believe, however this might just be the sat nav dvd, but need to confirm, under the DVD player it also has a 6 x cd holder which is a result.

Anyway so the TV function is a freeview box and I cant believe how good the picture is, its absolutly amazing, better than on my old mans range rover.

So question is, is there a way to keep it playing when your moving?

i doubt I would use it for very long, but its always nice to have.

Any help.

P.S I tried several searches on the forum and couldnt find much apart from retro fitting the entire unit.

The DVD player will be for the sat nav, You can code the TV to work on the move but its pretty point less. Search navcoder, just need to plug you laptop in and code, requires an interface.

There's a market for it, especially so that a passenger can watch whilst being driven. Don't have nav or telly, but I wouldn't mind listening to Sky Sports News whilst driving if I did have it.

Maybe, but that's not what he's asking for - he's asking to watch TV whilst he's driving. :o

Could of been mis-interpreted, should of said TV on the move.

I enabled it it my old E46 but never really used it. It had the digital tuner but the reception was crap especially on the move, done it for the misses to keep her quite :D

You could listen to it Mike, its only the picture that stops when you move off, mind you would have to have a digital feed :D

Guys, Im sorry I may of got a bit excited, I am not trying to say I will be watching the TV whilst driving, ideally it would be to keep the other half happy, I wouldnt even dream of watching the TV whilst driving as it would be madness.

its just a nice option to have for the long drives etc.
