Turning off front assist.

I've got this on my my daily Skoda and it's a pain in the arse, it seems to have a mind of its own at best, I've permanently turned of the reversing one as it slams on if it sees a leaf and makes you s**t yourself. The front assist however needs to be turned of every start up as far as I can tell, I've done it a few times, it leaves a warning triangle on the display, I have now had a thought that if I've disabled it and have a shunt, the insurance investigator will know I disabled it from the cars brain and I suspect I'd have an insurance nightmare. Does anyone know if this is correct, that there would be insurance headache?

its best not to think about these things.

cars have had the option to switch off traction control for decades - there must have been plenty of people who switched off TCS, and then wrapped it round a lamppost. havent heard of anyone having an insurance claim refused because an insurer has looked at the cars data and saw that you turned off TCS seconds before having a crash. Whilst saying 'watch this....' to their passenger.
