Turner MS RTAB Limiters

I know there was a (fairly heated) debate recently about the merits of poly bush RTAB verses an OEM bushes/limiters combo, and I don't want to start that up again, but...

Oh. My. God.

Limiters went on a couple of weeks ago and what a huge, massive, awe inspiring difference they make to the back end. The car is sooooooo much more stable under acceleration and breeds so much more cinfience under load.

So pleased I've fitted them - a must have mod IMHO.

Poly or Limiters, it doesn't really make much difference which they both have the same great end result.
I went for poly simply because they were a lot cheaper and I could easily fit myself.

Thanks for posting this - I'm planning to do the upgrade in the next month

Let me know how you find them. Might sound odd, but took a week or so (and a hunter alignment) for mine to feel like they'd settled in.

I have poly limiters

...that have been sitting in my garage for about 18months. I want to get the car aligned again this summer, so I am planning on asking them to fit these at the same time. Finally. Pleased to hear it will make a difference

I'd want an alignment after doing it anyway, may as well get them done at the same time.

One thing I'm still confused on regarding this is the preload.
So you have to check/set the preload when you fit OEM bushes. OK.
You don't have to do this with Poly bushes, (although some think they are really not suitable for the role). OK
My question is with Limiters and OEM bushes combination. Do you need to set the preload with these?

Backlash on the front trailing arm bushing? :idunno:

Helpful as ever GuidoK

Clearly I meant to say preload.
I'm preoccupied with an LSD we are currently installing.
You could of been useful for a change and actually answered the question.
But that's just not your bag is it?!

OE bushings and limiters will need preload. I believe the idea is to install them in such a position as they would be on the car in normal use.
Cba with having to read through TIS 10 times to make sure I didn't screw it up...

?!?
Stop whining like a baby.
How the hell should I know you're mixing up words? You think I got a crystal ball?
The only thing I can make of this is that you're trying to blame me for your own incompetence.
Piss off!

Yawn!

My low opinion of you comes from your behaviour on this forum not mine!

And that's why you blame others for words you mix up yourself?
right... I guess that's your bag then.
