Turbo timer

Nope. If I was tracking it then yes but otherwise no not really necessary for a car being used as a weekend toy or even a Daily Driver on the road.
 
Just drive the last couple of mins at the speed limit on the way home , does the same thing unless you live at adenau
 
I don't need one as I pootle the last mile or so home but it's easy to forget we've got forced induction as they're so quiet turbo wise and lag free.
 
As others have said, take it steady when you near your destination. Also other things that can help are reversing into parking spaces, put the roof up with the engine running. Both are done at low engine load so help flushing any heat out of the turbo's bearings.
