Details are nice- but I think there are other things I would spend the money quoted on

I remapped my 35i DKG with approx. 380hp and 500NM at Schmickler Performance (they are based at the Ring and race Z4's and 3 series in the VLN racing series). I had an extra cooler fitted from the BMW Performance shelf to deal with the highter temps, which were even too high stock if you ask me. They mapped around a 100 N54's in Z4 some of them are well over 400hp and 500NM. The N54 has an electronic chain to keep it at 306hp to maintain some distance to the M V8, we are talking about a 3.0 twin turbo in the end. It's probably the most tuned BMW engine to date and if you surf around the forum's it seems to hold up great. The increase in performance after the tune is drastic I hit 296 kmh (GPS measured) with the car and 0-100 comes in under 5s. The extra torque lets you cruise in high gears and float through traffic with ease. I used to drive a 997 Carrera S before and that wasn't any quicker than my current Z4 with the tuned N54 :D

My iS is at 340 and have found some 'soft' remaps which will add another 28 BHP and 50-70 Nm torque....I'm very tempted!

Consider it on my iS as well. Going to look into an ESS remap.

do you know what the cost is? (i really dont need more power, but its very tempting!!! :P :driving: )

Its probably best bang for the buck performance wise. I will pick it up in the early spring time along with a smarttop, after that I will be done.
