Looking for a bit of advice from any e89 owners that have fitted a Tune2Air adapter to give Bluetooth music from their phone. I have an AUX and USB connection in the armrest but cannot play music (Spotify) from my iPhone. When connected to the Tune2Air listening to music, what happens when you receive a phone call because you aren’t connected to the cars Bluetooth connection.
Maybe a silly question but hopefully an easy answer. Thanks.

I also use the Tune2air and have bluetooth in my e89. I am using a iPhone XS.

When in the car the phone connects to both bluetooth devices (Tune2air + cars BT for the phone) at the same time, this happens automatically assuming both are paired. If I get a phone call while playing music via the Tune2air the phone call overides the music. Music pauses, phone rings through speakers etc. Once I hang up the music starts again. Works perfectly.

Are you unable to connect to both at the same time with your phone?

As above.

Certain devices can be set to only accept media and some get the option for media and calls.
But in this case it shouldn't be a problem as when I had mine it did it automatically (as mentioned above)

I'm running the Tune2Air setup with an iPhone 6 and mine treats the Tune2Air as a sort of bluetooth 'aux' cable (so you can see track titles and use the steering wheel functions). The phone also connects to the car's bluetooth and will do as the guys above have said.

It does work with spotify as well. I got it to work by closing the music app, connecting the phone to the Tune2Air, make sure that the car stereo is set to the 'aux' option, hit the off button to the stereo, opening spotify and start playing a song, then press the on button for the stereo and it should work. It won't display what its playing the first time as it gets a bit confused, but once you start the car up a second time it should be reading the right track info.
