I ve got the trunk issues after I certainly misused my z's trunk.(2003 e85 3.0i)
Day before yesterday, i went to an airport to pick my friend up and put his suitcase into a trunk.
It was a bit hard to put his suitcase in it since z's trunk is too small, compared to other vehicles.
I drove to his place even though I saw a trunk lid open dash warning.
I thought trunk wasn't closed properly since his suitcase was pretty big for z's trunk.
After I dropped him off, I came to know that the trunk release button on a driver's side wasn't totally work and my remote didn't work as well. The only way I could open a trunk was that I had to open a trunk with a key manually.
Also, I noticed that a trunk light on the left side of a trunk doesn't turn on when I open a trunk.(I replaced a bulb a month ago)
Since trunk can be closed properly, i guess the latch works fine.
I checked the trunk wire harness, wires look good as well.
I don't know what is the cause of these two problems(trunk open warning in dash and malfunction of a trunk light).
Does anyone have an idea of these issues?
