Ideas on a postcard :D

There are a few planned for this year,or have you forgotten already,Gary, lol.

Hopefully Rich or others can organise some meets to add to ones already in the pipeline, and we can manage 1 meet per month, from April onwards, possibly :driving:

Yep plenty on / planned but think we can do something before April.

I wanted to do the NC at the start of this year but I think work may get in the way again. Terribly inconvienient :(

We shall see.

Yeah,I know...Damn inconvenience,lol.

What part of the North coast were you thinking?

I may be busy with new baby's arrival Late January into Feb/March,until I get allowed out again, haha :driving:

It's only a couple of days, three at most to do it all. Was planned to do it with Zedward and my son but he was diverted after Will to go down South for Zedfest where I think he raised £30!!! He never even got to wear a kilt.

My son had all sorts planned. Wasn't so sure of his idea of a charity bucket at every stop and a school visit but I would have done it. :? Maybe Zedfest did me a favour?

Anyhow think I will try and take a couple of days and do the trip with the wee man anyway.

Hope you are all sorted for the new arrival.
You will love it. All the usual platitudes that it is hard work but the most rewarding sound trite but they are all true.

I think you are lucky to be let out at all this year!! :D

Got a borders run planned for May,Jim.....Still looking at routes, but have a few roads I want to include.
We could try and get to the Jim Clark museum then,as never been, and would be worth a visit.
(Me and my Wife nearly went last year, but tine got away from us.)

If we can't get there on my borders run,we could try something later in the year?

I've read all the threads relating to proposed driving days and there's never a lot of info released..............so I don't commit to attending...think it would be frowned upon to be adding myself to the list of attendee's then not attending because I don't fancy a mystery tour!!
Don't get the whole "public forum" secrecy thing.

The reason people, including myself, don't post too much info on here is that anyone can read it,including local police. Has been known. So why advertise where a bunch of sports cars are going to be,lol.

Anyone COULD indeed read it...but why would it be of ANY interest to them to even be on a random car forum....there must be thousands of car forums!!
What is it that......"has been known"

Not sure why you've picked this thread to debate this, can I suggest you start a seperate one if you want to continue the debate and leave this one free for those that want to attend!
As this is a run I'm organising I'M choosing not to make the route public but I'm happy to give anyone a brief idea of the places we'll visit, just drop me a message if you really need to know!

To be fair Jim, even if you did know the route in advance, you would probably go your own route anyway.

 That what I was thinking!

:D
When you've all stopped laughing can I remind you that me & Mandy were the only ones that followed the printed route from the start of the only run we've been on.....it was 3rd exit at BROXDEN
Sorry for the thread drift Rich.....I have a habit of random train of thoughts. If you could PM me a rough idea of what you've got in mind for October that'd be great.......it's a bit early for me to make plans but as it's local I should be OK to join in.
Now,down to the serious stuff.......who all fancies a day out in March??.......I can start a new thread if necessary.

:D As ever tied to work but so far have always managed to arrange things to make a Scottish meet. Tell me when and where and I will do my best to be there.
