Trossachs and Higland Lochs Sunday 10th July 2022

A Sunday potter across the Trossachs and Highlands.

Starting at Dobbies Garden Centre Stirling around 09:00 and wandering up to Pitlochry and then past Loch Tunnel and Loch Rannoch to Rannoch station for lunch, one of the most isolated railway stations in the UK.

Then going 'over the top' from Rannoch School (conditions permitting) to Loch Tay and the Brig o'Turk to end at Stronachlachar on Loch Katrine.

Around 180 miles and about 6 hours of driving.

Restricted to 12 cars for logistics reasons.

First come, first served.

Lovely drive up this afternoon…very light traffic everywhere…sunshine and around 23c …living the dream…

I got bitten to bits last week in the Alps so hey ho :rofl:

Enjoy the run .. love to have been there but saving the pennies

Fabulous day out..weather was as close to perfect as you could get..up on the moors air temperature was around 20c..lovely sunshine and a very pleasant breeze ensure ZERO flies..as fragged,,

Very light traffic until we got on to the Loch Tay road to Killin in the late afternoon then progressively busier..with that level of heat by then (air temperature upto 28c) we just cruised along..very pleasant..thanks to all making it a very pleasant day out..
