just been driving behind 1. nice old car but you don.t realise how little the are until you get up close

i think the spitfire and the mgb are what influenced my purchase of the coupe

When I was in college a friend of mine had one like the one below...

while I was stuck with driving a VW Bettle... :(
Actually the VW was not that bad. Much better in the snow, cold weather and more reliable.
 
Used to have a red MGBGT 1968 wire wheels - the biz - but you're right - see one now and they seem tiny ! Mind you my old Elan looked tiny compared with the Zed which seems a big old lump in comparison.
 
A mate of mine had one at uni, in British racing green. Was great fun and as you say quite little! The shock was when you drove it and tried to brake hard... They were terrible! Brake technology has come along way since then!
 
My Dads got a white one in his garage ... bit of a wreck to be honest has been saying for the last 10 years he was going to restore it! :lol:
