Triple Turn Signal Activation

I can now do all this (impretty sure pre-facelifts do not have Triple-Flash though grrr) :) If people want stuff programming at meets id be happy too for a forum donation :)

Andy: Im pretty sure theres an option for the seat belt reminder, ill try mine tonight! Well annoying with a laptop bag or heavy jacket on your pax seat...

NCS Expert Settings:
GURTWARNUNG_EURO_NCAP :seat belt warning
GURTWARNUNG_GONG :seat belt warning gong
GURTWARNUNG_TEXT :seat belt warning optical

On the E89's it is done on the stalk on the steering column and each key is individually programmed for the vehicle.

I see from the post that for the E85's etc some say it has to be done at the dealers and someone else says it can be done on the stalk. :? :?

Might take you up on that one mate! I miss the 3 flashes that my octy had :(

My dealer has 'categorically stated' this is not available on the Z4M.. although from what has been said it seems as though it is. Time to apply more pressure I think :(

I have that feature on my 2007 M Roadster and it was programed on by default or so I was told.

I had it done on mine.. cost £23 from an independent in Burton. very handy when changing lanes.

Had mine done on my 06 Z4MR & love it 8)

Does anyone know if there is a list of programming 'options' available? I have had a look online but not managed to come up with anything other than knowing what other BMW cars can do...?

Sorry, that wasn't meant to sound patronising either.. I think I was multitasking :)

Welcome & happy thrashing 8) :driving:

Yes it's in the manual how to activate the triple flash, left stalk I think it was although dealer did mine FOC (I'm a tight arse)

I was told by BMW service advisor today that triple turn signal is not available on my Zed. Is it true? The Owner's Manual does mention about its activation. Anyway, it will cost £40 for first setting change, and £15 for each additional change. I should have asked to make all changes when I bought it last year.

I have it on my 2009 sDrive Z4 3.5i

I have it on my 56 coupe. Unfortunately I also asked for daytime running lights but they didn't do that - the dealer wasn't that clued up TBH.

I think that if youi bought new and they didn't advise you of the various options then you have a good argument for getting it done for free..

I was at the dealer today having the oil changed and inquired as to whether or not they could program the turn signals. The dealer said they couldn't. I saw in this thread that WLH M Roadster has the feature and wondering if the programming can be done on stateside M's...
