Had a great drive out to Mallaig and despite there being a foodie festival today the road was quiet enough to have a good go at it. :driving:

The worst of Summer tourist traffic is over :)

A couple of photos only where the traffic lights stopped me and a slow drive through Glenfinnan. Only two sets now from three last month.

To be fair in and out of showers on the way there. Photos on the way back.

Weathers not been good this week :(

Love that road, quite challenging on the bike in places but the road works a few years ago made it less hassle than when you met tour buses on single track sections.Good chippy we frequented when on a day trip.......around 300 miles return from here if I remember correctly.Mandy's sister stayed at Acharacle for a while so we also frequented the Glenuig Inn :D ........just realised I've been in a lot of pubs in Scotland :P
Hope you had a good one :driving:

Yeah the road is a cracker. Some really twisty bits with tightening bends and some open sweeps, straights to open up on.

Had fish and chips myself which was landed in the morning and am currently eating an ale and rye bread from Skye along with Mull cheddar from the foodie fair

Washed down with a nice glass of red. A good day thanks

Done that a fair few years ago did a tour of Scotland in my brand new TT Convertible 03 it was great summer. The day we went on the Malaig drive we started off half way up Loch Ness it was a fantastic day and scenery to die for, would love to do it in the Z.
