Trim coming away...sticky stuff?

Hi All,

On both doors of my E89 the small pieces of black trim on the door sills are coming away. I pop them back in, but within a single journey they're out again as per the attached photo.

I think I need something sticky to hold them in place and the usual araldite/superglue came to mind. Although I'm unlikely to ever need to remove them I'm aware that these two glues are pretty permanent and may not even be suitable for areas continually exposed to heat/cold/damp.

Any top tips and glue recommendations would be gratefully received .

I think I’d try a few blobs of black silicone on them.

There's a surprise around every corner with the Z4 . Had mine 14 years, too.
